W2W Solutions Italia Srl operates as a provider of monitoring services for energy production plants with Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions. The software technologies used are based on the back-end on the techniques of Machine To Machine for the connectivity of data collection equipment, to the front-end web-based and App for smartphones, with regard to the aspects of industrial monitoring, the Internet of Things (IoT) and Web 3.0 for the management of sensors in remote sensing and telemetry applications.
With this know-how W2W Solutions proposes the Environ&metrY project for the development of an integrated, homogeneous, scalable system easily reusable for other applications thanks to the modular structure of the database and software components that will be created, which performs real-time air quality monitoring.
The Environ&metrY application is based on the acquisition of the main environmental pollutants with multi-sensor terminals self-powered by solar panel-battery, positioned on a mesh of defined points of urban and suburban areas with high concentration of population such as to reconstruct with 2D interpolation algorithms the pollutants at each point of the city and in the immediate vicinity. The chromatic representation on a map of the distribution in time and space of airborne substances makes Environ&metrY a necessary tool for public administrations, associations and territorial bodies to be able to know in real time the direct impact on public health. Environ&metrY will be based on COIOTE PLATFORM (www.sigfox.com) already developed by W2W and will transmit data through the wireless network SigFox, which is spreading very fast in Europe and is present in Italy with Nettrotter (www.netrotter.io). This new network has been studied for the transport of data in small packets and with very low energy consumption in a 1 to 100 ratio with GPRS, therefore free from any effect of electromagnetic pollution. The COIOTE PLATFORM already operates on other wireless networks such as GPRS and Wi-Fi and will be enabled to operate on the SigFox network in order to exploit the advantages of low energy consumption and large range.

Fabio Manenti has collaborated as Project Manager in this project contributing in various phases including the design, commercial marketing both national and international, as well as finding public funds for its development, among which we mention the announcement Research and Innovation 2015 of the Lombardy Region, the Business Development Voucher and the Internationalization Voucher of the Chamber of Commerce of Bergamo and the European announcement Horizon 2020 SME Instruments.
